Keibul Lamjao National Park

Keibul Lamjao National Park is a lovely place, set within the Bishnupur district of Manipur state. The park is home to the vulnerable brow-antlered cervid or Sangai (Rucervus eldi eldi).

Total space of the park is 40 Km. It had been established as a National Park in the year 1977. The park is set on the southern shore of the Loktak Lake – the world's solely 'floating' sanctuary and the largest fresh lake in India that has been declared a Ramsar site.

• The clearing of the forest for agriculture and construction is completely banned.
• People can collect firewood, medicinal plants, fruits and other stuff in small scale.
• It's not physically fenced to restrict the public from entering and roaming inside a wildlife sanctuary for educational, research, inspirational and recreational purposes.

Manipur Zoological Garden

Manipur Zoological Garden is the pride of Imphal capital of Manipur. Established on 2^nd October 1976, the garden is found around eight kilometers from Imphal in Lamphelpat. Bunning Wildlife Sanctuary

Bunning Sanctuary is found within the Tamei subdivision in Tamenglong district in Manipur, Sprawling over an Area 115.8 sq. km. The Barak watercourse flows close to the Sanctuary. Several streams originate from the structure areas among the Sanctuary and feed the Barak.

A group of 7 lakes viz Goulungzai, Zeilad, Tuangpuizai, Napsiamzai, Guiphuapzai, Narouzai & unidentified one.

Tropical Evergreen and Semi-evergreen Forests occur within the Sanctuary. Beautiful undulating little mounds clothed with varied orchids mingled with wild lilies, flowering herbs & shrubs.

Yangoupokpi-Lokchao Wildlife Sanctuary
